The Underwood Hills Focus School is built around collaboration and cooperation, we could not survive without community support and the partnerships that continue to develop and keep us strong.
Currently our partners are:

Parents Pride Group- Parent/School support coordinating school activities, fundraisers and family events

Anti Defamation League- Becoming a “No Place for Hate” school, providing anti bullying teaching and reinforcement

Alegent – A grant to providing biofeedback software called HeartMath to help students handle stress


Apple- Training and ongoing support for our 1:1 computer/technology initiative

Bag and Save – Neighborhood Supermarket that provides food for parent/school events


Brighton Gardens – Senior facility near school that is a partner for collaborative visits

Building Bright Futures – Providing grants to support 40 Developmental Assets that children need to succeed

Edward Jones – Enrichment instruction for the Nebraska Stock Market Game

Foster Grandparent Program – ENOA –Eastern Office on Aging partnership that provides a volunteer foster grandparent mentor for our school

Gallup – Strength Finder (staff), Strengths Explorer (students)

HyVee - Neighborhood Supermarket that provides food for parent/school events

First National Bank of Omaha – In-school actual bank run by students teaching financial literacy

Kicking Tigers USA Taekwondo – Providing enrichment classes all year long in martial arts

Nebraska Game and Parks – Providing training and grant for an archery enrichment class

Nebraska Wildlife Rehab, Inc. – Providing a grant to create an outdoor science classroom and habitat education program

Omaha School of Massage (Yoga) - Providing enrichment classes in yoga all year long

University of Nebraska at Omaha – Intensive Language Group (ILUNO) working with our ELL (English Language Learners), and enrichment instructors

Artery- Ballroom dance instruction for 5th grade teaching poise and character

Nebraska Arts Council – Artist in residence grant to teach drama and leadership around black history

Toast Masters – Providing instructors for enrichment classes

Village Inn – (90th & Maple St.) Providing family nights through our Parents Pride

Westside Alumni Association – Providing volunteers for enrichment

Youth Frontiers –  A grant for Kindness retreat teaching problem solving and character development

Sherwood Foundation – Providing funds for student support

South High School (OPS) - Providing volunteers to assist enrichment

Westside High School - Providing volunteers to assist enrichment

Foundations from Elkhorn Public Schools, Omaha Public Schools and Westside Community Schools
